I replaced my Shimano Saint pedals with these and I couldn't be happier. The things I like about these pedals: -They have a little resistance to spinning freely which means they stay in place when you take your foot off and put it back on. -They do not have a bulge for the bearing (like OneUp or Crankbrothers). -The platform position is the right distance from the crank arm for how I like to ride and for size 12 FiveTen Sam Hill shoes to sit securely without rubbing. -The lack of pins in the center where the spindle is and the large gap between the solid parts of the pedal means it is easy to grab the pedal for spinning the cranks to change gears quickly without the risk of ripping a hole in my gloves. -The pins are inset a bit from the corners compared to other pedals so they are less likely to get smashed by rock strikes and so far they look brand new even tho I have abused them thoroughly. -They aren't super thin. That's a very personal preference but an important one for me.
